Marrying a Russian Woman
Finding your bride
If want to marry a Russian woman, the first thing you must do is to find her (naturally). Instead of sending generic letters to random women, spend some time to decide what kind of a person you'd like to spend the rest of your life with. Write down desired age, appearance, level of education, personal traits and preferences, hobbies, interests, etc. However, that's not all: you should also decide the type of woman you would NOT like to meet: positive list qualities apply here. Doing this will certainly limit the field of women you will write to, and might even save you some money. Take time and browse through more profiles until you find several (2-6) brides that best fit your personality, and start the correspondence.
Contacting your bride
So, now that you have found the bride of your dreams, it is now time to get to know her better. Most of your correspondence will be written in email messages, so a proper first letter should be written. For best results, try to write different (custom) letters to every bride from your list, so that every one of them feels that you are truly interested in them, and their answers will be a lot warmer and more positive that they would be if you wrote a generic form letter to all women. Also, your first letter should not be very brief, as you should write up to 3 pages about yourself and why you are looking for a bride abroad. It is very important to translate your letters to Russian, as most Russian brides cannot enjoy the language of your letter to the fullest because of the language barrier.
Visiting your bride
Alas, you made it past the correspondence phase, and are ready to visit the potential love of your life in her hometown. However, certain aspect of Russian culture must be adhered to, and they are often overlooked. As soon as you arrive to your bride's hometown, meet her in person and she finally brings you home, be sure to bring presents from your country both for her and her family. Also, you should certainly meet her family and friends according to an old Russian tradition. She'll be offended if you don't. One of your other duties as a foreign man is to pay all your and your bride's expenses, otherwise you will be regarded as a scrooge. Usually, it takes up to 5 visits to get to know your future bride and make a decision to marry her.
Final Notes
Well, there isn't much to say. Actually, after having married a Russian woman, you should know almost everything about her. Just remember to give her some time to adapt to Western society, and after a couple of months she'll be a blooming flower.
