How to know if you are being scammed?
Finding a bride through the Internet is a very convenient and quite easy way, but (as usually) it has several drawbacks that can seriously spoil your life if no actions against them are taken immediately. In this article we are going to write about scamming, which is a threat for every naïve and open-hearted person.
Scammers usually pretend being good brides, which write you and try to steal your money (and, of course, your precious time and emotions). How to find out if a girl you have been exchanging e-mails for last month is a dangerous scammer? Here is a set of advices and sightings, which should help you recognize a potential scammer:
⢠It's not you who find scammers; they find you. If you receive a message from the girl, who has registered a free account and looking for the "intelligent and interesting manâ? (as you can notice, this description is really wide and suits everybody) â be careful!
⢠Scammers always use e-mail messages. If you receive e-mails regularly (1 or 2 per day) try to think about it more carefully. This might be a sign of cheating.
⢠The technique, used by such swindlers, make this "brideâ? fall in love with you very quickly. If it is clearly written in 5th or 6th message â it's almost 100% scamming. Or a very open-hearted personâ¦
⢠She NEVER asks you about your financial stability. If, for example, a real Russian bride searches for a man from abroad, she must be interested in this aspect and, as a result of this, she would ask about your finances.
⢠Although she isn't interested in your financial stability, she lets you know that her finances are VERY bad. This usually happens in an early stage (2nd or 3rd letter).
⢠Writing about trust, sincerity and honesty takes a lot of place of her letters. This is a common technique, which should make you feel sympathy to her.
After you have noticed several of the signs listed above, you have several options. You can write her e-mail with your thoughts about current situation (this can either stop scammers writing you or make this girl, if only she is real, answer and discuss the situation). It's your choice what to do next. The most important is that you don't become another scammer's victim and feel safe enough for searching for great and (what is more important) real brides!
